What is dry/ acne-prone skin? Dry skin is when the skin is lacking in oil. It's usually characterised by flaking or a white dusting and can feel rough to touch. Without the right level of hydration, the skin barrier may become impaired which can exacerbate acne.
Below are product recommendations for long-lasting hydration whilst helping to prevent further breakouts.
We suggest you start with 2-3 products in your routine at first to allow your skin the chance to adjust. Then begin adding extra products once your skin is responding well.

CLEANSER
Light Work - Rosehip Cleansing Oil - Ensure heavy makeup and/or SPF has been properly removed at the end of each day. Poorly removed makeup and SPF can block the pores and the skin can become congested. This is a great first step in your cleansing regime if you choose to double cleanse.
Middlemist Seven - Gentle Cream Cleanser - Gently remove dirt and impurities you may have come into contact with throughout the day without stripping the skin of its natural oils. We use a three-oil blend to cleanse, condition and hydrate the skin.
TONER
Century Flower - Soothing Tonic - This tonic helps to lock in moisture and keep skin hydrated for longer. The ingredients work to stimulate circulation and skin cell regeneration for a brighter, calmer complexion.
MOISTURISER
Love & Haight - Hydrating Moisturiser - Ideal for keeping acne-prone skin hydrated, vitamins A, D & E and Omegas 3 & 6 in this moisturiser melt into the skin to leave a silky, smooth finish. Jojoba Oil closely resembles our natural sebum and is a proven antibacterial with anti-inflammatory properties, while Linoleic Acid found in Avocado Oil is effective for maintaining hydration levels.
TREATMENT
All Becomes Clear - Blemish Serum - This serum will help to gently alleviate redness and inflammation without drying the spot and causing irritation. Zinc extract has a number of benefits for acne-prone skin by inhibiting bacteria from growing within the sweat glands.
Rosehip Bioregenerate - Universal Face Oil - Our Rosehip Oil contains regenerative sterols to soothe inflammation surrounding the blemish and encourage healing, whilst softening the appearance of dry patches and flaking.
Virtuous Circle - Facial Exfoliator - The unique gel-to-milk formula simultaneously exfoliates, conditions and hydrates to leave skin visibly brighter and smoother. Removing the dead skin cells will decongest the pores and help the rest of your products sink in much better. Often, if your products cannot be absorbed into the skin properly this can lead to congestion.
Curtain Call - The Brightening Mask -This buttery mask uses a combination of soothing Rosehip Oil and Strawberry Leaf Extract to feed the skin with essential nutrients and restore radiance to dull, lacklustre skin.
