We do our best to minimise the cost impact on our customers, but very occasionally this may result in an increase to RRP to allow us to maintain the quality of each and every Pai product.
We don’t make changes like this unless it is absolutely necessary and we take the decision very seriously.
As part of our rebrand in September 2020, we changed the sizing of our Light Work Cleansing Oil and Middlemist Seven Cream Cleanser. This was the result of feedback from our customers who used both products as part of their double cleanse routine and told us they ran out at different times (you need less oil than cream per application). To rectify, we adjusted the smaller cream airless bottle up to 150ml and the size of the oil bottle down to 100ml.
Alongside this, we had to take into account regulatory changes (including BREXIT) which impacted our margins. We always absorb extra costs where we can and throughout COVID we've paid whatever it took to get products to customers. However, it was not sustainable for us to continue to offer our cleansers at the same price per ml.
