Below is the routine we would recommend people with oily/acne-prone to start on. Once we see how your skin responds, we can start to edit, tweak or add to this.
Please note, if you have dry/acne-prone skin - the best routine for you can be found here.
Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser
Thoroughly cleanse the skin in the evening by applying a generous amount of cleanser, massaging gently and then remove using the Dual-Effect Sensitive Skin Cloth. Dampen the cloth and remove the cleanser with the soft terry side only if your skin is particularly hypersensitive to ensure any residue from the cleanser is removed. The cleanser is a detergent-free formula and bursting with Omega 3 and vitamins so will clean the skin thoroughly without stripping away the natural protective oils of your skin.
Rice Plant & Rosemary BioAffinity Tonic
After cleansing lightly spritz the face with the toner restoring the exact pH and biochemical balance of healthy skin. This skin tonic will help to rebalance oil flow and act as a preventative solution for bacterial infection - it's also a great way of locking in moisture and helping your day cream to go a little further.
Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil
We find it's best to leave your skin to restore and regenerate as naturally as possible overnight using a facial oil or serum, rather than a cream. For oily/acne-prone skin, we recommend using a combination of the two products below. On two to three evenings a week, apply 1-2 drops of the Rosehip BioRegenerate Oilto the face and neck after toning.
Copaiba & Zinc Perfect Balance Blemish Serum
On the other four to five evenings, apply this serum to your skin. The Copaiba & Zinc Blemish Serum restores calm and clarity to acne-prone skin and helps reduce sebum production by up to 65%. Anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties improve the appearance of persistent blemishes by up to 72%, while maintaining the moisture barrier to prevent flaky skin.
Spritz over the face with the Rosemary & Riceplant BioAffinity Tonic. There is no need to use the cleanser again in the morning unless you feel the need to.
Geranium & Thistle Rebalancing Day Cream
Apply 1-2 pumps of moisturizer to the skin directly after toning. Lightweight and non-greasy, this silky moisturizer restores balance to sensitive skin prone to blemishes and congestion, while essential fatty acids from Borage and Thistle oils help to calm unsettled complexions and even out skin tone. A favourite of celebrities, such as Emma Watson.
Kukui & Jojoba Bead Exfoliator
This is a gentle and effective mechanical exfoliator. The completely spherical jojoba wax beads will buff away dead skin cells and help to remove impurities that have built up on the skin's surface. The beads are suspended in Kukui Oil to moisturise and condition sensitive skin. Apply a small amount to dry skin and rub in a circular motion one to two times a week. Once the exfoliator is applied across your face, wet hands and rub exfoliator further into the skin. This should create a milky, creamy lather which can then be easily removed with a cloth.
Copaiba AHA Mask
Once a week, and not on the same evenings as you exfoliate, apply this mask to dry skin and leave for about 5-10 minutes before removing with a cloth.
Our skin takes about 28 days to renew itself so for best results, try this routine consistently over 3-4 weeks before changing anything unless your skin reacts badly to a product in which case you should stop using this immediately.
