What does Hyperpigmentation look like? It is characterised by small dark patches on the skin, often caused by sun damage or scarring.
We suggest using the following two steps:
Exfoliation
Gentle exfoliation is essential for replacing damaged cells with healthy fresh ones. Gently brush the area with a muslin cloth, or use a very gentle polish such as our Virtuous Circle - Facial Exfoliator. We recommend using this product 1-2 times a week.
Conditioning
Rosehip Bioregenerate - Universal Face Oil improves the appearance of the skin thanks to its high concentration of Carotenoids, an essential fuel for the skin’s natural repair function. Apply 2-3 drops to slightly damp skin 3-4 times a week.
Holistic Advice
In addition to gently exfoliating and conditioning the skin, we recommend supplementing your skincare too. Upping your intake of Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) will help nourish and heal your skin from the inside out. Vitamin A-abundant foods such as sweet potato, broccoli, carrot, and apricots are also beneficial for healthy skin and have an antioxidant effect on the body.
