Hyperpigmentation is characterised by small dark patches on the skin, often caused by sun damage or acne scarring. Although this can impact your skin confidence, the good news is there is a lot you can do to reduce the appearance!
We suggest using the following two steps:
Exfoliation
Gentle exfoliation is essential for replacing damaged cells with healthy fresh ones. Gently brush the area with a muslin cloth, or use a very gentle polish such as our Kukui & Jojoba Bead Skin Brightening Exfoliator. We recommend using this product 1-2 times a week.
Conditioning
Rosehip BioRegnerate Oil improves the appearance of the skin thanks to its high concentration of Carotenoids, an essential fuel for the skin’s natural repair function. Try applying 2-3 drops to slightly damp skin 3-4 times a week.
Holistic Advice
In addition to gently exfoliating and conditioning the skin, we recommend supplementing your skincare too. Upping your intake of Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) will help nourish and heal your skin from the inside out. Vitamin A-abundant foods such as sweet potato, broccoli, carrot, and apricots are also beneficial for healthy skin and have an antioxidant effect on the body.
